    NerdScholar是美国一家创立五年的个人理财网站NerdWallet旗下的高等教育部门，该网站总部设在旧金山。NerdWallet提供比价服务，从信用卡一直到机场停车，无所不包。

　　为汇总毕业生薪资排行榜，NerdScholar首先从《US News &World Report》顶级大学排行榜的前100所全国性大学以及前30所文理学院入手，并与它从大学求职网站收集到的数据进行参照，这些网站对学生薪资水平进行调查。它追踪了2011、2012和2013届毕业生的起薪，算出每所院校的平均值。

　　这份榜单远谈不上全面，因为有很多学校，比如哈佛大学、耶鲁大学和布朗大学，都不发布毕业生薪资信息，因此这些学校都不在榜单上。但这些数字能够说明一些问题，因为它们是一些确切的数字。可以说比薪资调查网站PayScale数据库中那些自行上报的薪资数据更为可靠。
